Got tons of illustrations in my archive. With the help of Photoshop, a new design can be as simple as playing with existing images & patterns. By layering a finish illustration over a sketch, I can come up with a new idea pretty quickly.
Inspirations and sketches from my studio in the Catskill Mountain. The solitude of my Artist Retreat compels me to keep exploring, seeing, experimenting, and painting all the picturesque quality outside my window.

BLUSTERY CLOUDS
I hope the blustery weather come across on this sketch. It's actually delightful if one does not have to venture outside.

At the METROPOLITAN Museum
Pierre Fontaine was a leading architect of the Napoleonic period. This 5x7 sketchbook of a journey to the chateau d'Eu, 1811 is a recent acquisition of the museum . I wonder if he would still whip out his paints if he has an iPhone?
