MY SUMMER GARDEN

the trouble with being an artist is that we all have 101 things on our to-do list, and none of them involve painting...finally find the time to work up a finish...the idea began a few sketches ago from my personal experience of being in the middle of an idyllic summer day in the country...

MARS RED

been busy with a specific commission, it's nice to go back to my sketchbook...I get to call the shots...no rules, it's all about creativity & experimentation...a touch of mars red to the blues give me this perfect grey....

the colors of summer...hillside views drenched in light & shadow
