Inspirations and sketches from my studio in the Catskill Mountain. The solitude of my Artist Retreat compels me to keep exploring, seeing, experimenting, and painting all the picturesque quality outside my window.

INTERESTING VIEW
Nothing like a bit of snow, to see something interesting out my window. I've been spending most of my focus on this HOUSE PORTRAIT for a commission. I'm using egg tempera & it's a very slow process. A quick pastel makes for a nice break. It helps to really get to know your art supply. For me, choosing the right medium can express exactly how I feel at the moment.
