Winter's Last Full Moon

Hibernation get  boring with our long winter. But there's always beauty.

 The full moon thru my window is spectacularly bright. This is the final full moon of the winter season. March's full worm moon reaches its peak today.

MOON SET, 5 am

This might be the last time to wake up & see the full moon sets over lingering white snow, over the western horizon, at 5am. It's a lovely sight, bit it's hard to be inspire with snow, by April!

MARCH FULL MOON OVER MEADOW

March's full moon is commonly known as the worm moon because it's the time of the year when warmer temp thaw the ground & ground worms reemerge bringing migrating birds back to feed on them. By March, I'm usually dreaming of warmer places. But to see a full moon over snow cover meadow is still magical!
