Le Louvre, from start to finish.Inspirations and sketches from my studio in the Catskill Mountain. The solitude of my Artist Retreat compels me to keep exploring, seeing, experimenting, and painting all the picturesque quality outside my window.

SACRE COEUR NOCTURNE
After the sun sets, a blue veil soften all the colors & shapes of Paris, except for the well lit Sacre Coeur. Pure magic to see this from my balcony before I fall asleep.Monday, March 21, 2016
GREASE PENCIL
China marker is definitely my top 10 favorite art supply, mainly because it's smudge proof. What's yours?

WINTER BLOOMS
Whenever my ramblings take me thru the Hudson Valley…I like to stop at Battenfeld's in Red Hook, NY for some fresh blooms.

NEW KITTEN DESIGN
You learn to paint & then you paint to learn.
Part of the joy of painting is experimenting with new art supply. After all these years, my go to medium is still watercolor. Sometimes I choose to start a new subject just so I can use my Winsor & Newton watercolors & my #3 Kolinsky sable brush from Utrecht. This sable brush has the right snap for a fluid wash & the perfect point for building up the fuzzy fur on this little kittie.
