PLEIN AIR

first time this year to be painting outside....between the birds and colors,etc...it's harder to paint, in the middle of "mess of nature"....still, nothing beats the experience, to be envelope by the sight, feel and sound of nature

FENMORE MUSEUM

been kind of busy lately....decided to just take a day off to lovely Cooperstown,NY(perks of an artist's schedule)...I got to shop, visit friends, & bike around Lake Otsego....did not have time to sit & sketch, this is a B&W zerox of Fenmore Museum with color pencil on top

SCARLET TANAGER

May is the best month for taking long hikes in the woods....with field guidebook in my pocket, lots of new discoveries in the woodland...came upon a SCARLET TANAGER, this only happens once a year for me

KEEP GOING

looks like another day of seeing, painting, doubting, revising, rethinking, reworking...to keep on keeping on..a small quick sketch sets the tone for a full day

TUXEDO PARK

got an unusual opportunity to visit Tuxedo Park, New York, this weekend...it's a very unique community, a short train ride from the hustle & bustle of NYC....a resort society started in 1885 by P. Lorillard....once again, my lifestyle choice has offer me amazing opportunity to experience beautiful places, which fuels my inspiration
