I'm sort of channeling Georgia O'Keeffe with this little Wood Anemone. She is best known for her enlarged flowers. By magnifying her subject, she emphasized shape & color, & brought attention to the tiny details within a little flower. With our busy lives, we haven't the time to see such a tiny flower. To SEE, takes time!
Really like the way this pink & white pastel came out. I posted it on ETSY, for sale, as a 8x10 print. It would look good in any room.

Messy pastel, the shape of the pastel stick makes it easy to form the shape of the round Ranunculus.

Another fine day on the deck. The view & the spring air compels me to bring out my pastel. I kind of like this green pastel sketch. I think I can use this for a new design…come back & see my progress.
